Large amounts of students are missing essential class discussions and instruction time due to Covid 19 related illness. My classes average 20-35 students absent per day. Effective learning is not taking place and a depth of knowledge is not built when students are absent from school. It is difficult to clean our classroom equipment fast enough in between class periods. I want to ensure student safety by having them use clean learning materials. With this project, students will have a revolving set of sturdy class headphones that are clean at all times. While one set of headphones is being used, I will clean the other set and rotate them through my classes. This project gives students the clean learning materials they need to avoid illness and absenteeism, driving them to become more efficient learners.
