The materials that I am requesting for my students have been a need throughout this entire year. Creating music is one of the most relaxing and enjoyable things a person can do, especially in light of the circumstances that Covid-19 has caused. However, it can also be frustrating whenever you don't have the right materials or equipment to get the job done. We do not have all of the equipment necessary to make these students as successful as they can be. Our current setup does allow students to make music, but it is cumbersome, time consuming, and tedious. The Xkey 37 MIDI Controllers that we are requesting will allow students to get musical thoughts down quickly and easily. These controllers also give them the most control to edit what has already been entered. These students have never once complained about what they have to work with. However, I am tired of seeing so many wonderful musical thoughts lost because the students do not have the time, or tech, to put it out into the world. We can all use the joy these students can bring from the best music they can make
