First off, I would like to explain that our school is low-income, so sometimes students don't have enough money to bring school supplies to school on their own. If my project is approved, the students will have more opportunities to express themselves much better and with better resources. I chose pencil cases as my main material since our school is dual immersion and students change classes in the middle of the day. Buying pencil cases for all the kids costs more money than we teachers can spend on supplies at the beginning of the year. They use dry erase markers a lot because they always have such great ideas to put on their boards. I chose the rest of the materials so that the students can continue with their work in a more efficient and creative way.
