As I mentioned before, my students come from all different areas of the economic spectrum. Some students have had the opportunity to travel, while others rarely have the opportunity to leave their communities. Along with economic difficulties that some students face, COVID-19 has also made travel to some of the sites that we discuss in class difficult. These Virtual Reality Headsets will allow students to virtually visit many of the sites that we discuss and talk about in class and will help give a context to what we are discussing. Reading and talking about the places helps students learn, but the ability to virtually visit those places will be very beneficial.
