Access to different technology allows my students to be exposed to a greater number of resources as they learn to maneuver the hard things in life. Many of my students are dealing with BIG things, this will allow me to more efficiently arm them with tools on their road to success. I plan to utilize this iPad in my small groups, where we will be accessing different programs and ideas. Students will be able to create and learn many valuable things on an individual and group level. For example: In one of the lessons we talk about coping strategies for grief and anxiety. One of the tools is Positive Music. In the small group the students download songs and lyrics. Students create playlists and videos explaining how the music strengthens them. These videos can then be utilized throughout the year in many different facets, school media, personal use, etc. Thank you for this opportunity!
