The headphones will be used during Intervention and independent online literacy time. The high interest sight word books will be used to reinforce and engage the students in independent reading. They will help boost their confidence and fluency. The I Can Read series will meet the needs of multiple leveled students during small group time, as well as, independent reading time. They will support decoding, vocabulary, fluency, and comprehension. The wipe off number lines will be placed on each desk and will give support for the standard of using a number line to add/subtract numbers. The expo markers are used on a daily basis for small group and whole group instruction. They are used to engage the students using alternative media versus pencil and paper.
