These new books and games in our classroom will help to give all my students new opportunities to be successful readers. Our classroom library is a bright, quiet, happy spot where the students can go and explore books that interest them. The students are always excited to see what new book I might put on the shelf or to listen to the latest read-aloud. With our new books, games and craft supplies, we will begin book studies and book clubs, and the students will have the opportunity to author their own stories! Teaching through this pandemic, with A/B schedules and virtual learning has been so challenging. We are sending materials home that would normally have never left our classroom. We are offering more differentiated learning than in years past to meet the needs of a classroom of students that are at so many different learning levels. New books and learning games would benefit my students so much! My hope is for all my students to become excited and engaged readers and lovers of books!
