The materials that your foundation will provide for our classroom will give my students the basic needs for adjusting and coping with this ever-changing world. I would like to provide my students with a “safe place” where they can go and calm themselves during an upset, a place to feel safe and secure. This area will be a place of rest and relaxation when their little brains are having problems coping with everyday life in a preschool classroom. There are other items that your foundation will provide that will help the children express their feelings, which is always so hard for them to express. We will use the additional items to help the children build communities with blocks, wooden garages, and tunnels, by building and playing with other children they learn how to work together, and problem solve. It is so important for these children to come to my classroom and feel safe and have fun.
