My students enjoy all aspects of gardening. Our garden is a place where they learn and play. It also enables them to provide food for the school and our community. By donating to our project, my students will be able to reduce their workload while they increase food productivity. Using irrigation and timers, my students will have more time to learn about the growing process. The increase in food will allow them to make fruits and vegetables available to our vulnerable population through our school food pantry. They not only learn concepts from their core classes, but they also participate in service.
