These materials will make a difference for my special needs students by allowing them opportunities to engage in hands-on learning. This is especially important for my students, since they have learning disabilities, are developmentally delayed, or struggle with health impairments that make learning difficult. Putting into their hands manipulatives that are interesting and fun will enhance their abilities to retain new learning in their long-term memory. My students will benefit from being provided hands-on manipulatives in the classroom. Colorful games, activities, and exciting phonics readers will spark their enthusiasm and promote success in literacy and math.
