The Quiet Room will become an escape for students overwhelmed by their senses or emotions. They will relax and practice breathing in a beanbag chair, meet their sensory needs by interacting with various materials on the wall, work with a counselor or speech therapist at a table and chairs, and practice emotional regulation while looking in the mirror. Today's students deserve a calm space designed for their sensory and emotional needs, so they can show their best in their academic learning. Help me transform a run-down "printer room" into a sanctuary used to relax, recharge, and reset.

About my class
