There's nothing like letting kids use hands-on materials to learn! Fraction tiles, multiplication cards, dice games, playing cards to add, subtract, multiply, and divide numbers is something I wish I would have had as a kid. I probably would have learned faster. I also think that these hands-on materials can be used in partners and groups. This is where kids get to build their social skills by talking to each other. This usually leads to kids helping each other learn the curriculum and helps make school and learning fun!
