I will start with the book set I am requesting, "What Color is Your Parachute?" I teach Senior English, and I would love to do this book in place of a novel towards the end of the year to prepare my students for the coming job market. This updated version gives modern advice on building an online resume, making the most of social media tools, and how to have the best virtual interviews. There are several activities from the workbook that I could attach to my google classroom that my students use daily. College and career readiness is a huge factor in today's instruction, and this book would supplement perfectly my existing career unit that I do with my seniors. The videos I create for my students on distance learning would be much enhanced with the use of a better document camera. I have a low end camera that I use, but the picture clarity is lacking, and it is difficult for students to see images clearly when they are at home. I also requested some supplies for my room. We are a Title I school, and the majority of our student body comes from poverty. I buy tons of school supplies throughout the year for my students, and this would be a blessing to get things they need. The past two years have been challenging, so thank-you for trying to lighten the burden of Oklahoma teachers. It is much appreciated!
