I believe that the proper use of the calculator is imperative in the success of the STAAR EOC test. I plan on teaching extensive calculator lessons, so that my students know exactly how to enter data and equations into the device. I am finding that in our district that we have many students who do not have any idea about the features on this calculator in order to solve linear and quadratic equations, which is a large portion of being successful on the algebra EOC. Success is my desire here.
