My students will benefit from all of these products and materials. We do Leveled Reading rotations in third grade. The main thing I am focusing on is fluency and comprehension. I am trying to make it more fun and have better resources for them and me to use. The "Finding Evidence Comprehension Kit" will help in my workshop with two things the kids are trying to improve on, comprehension and text evidence. The "Phonics Word Builder", "Magnetic Letters" and "White Boards" will help with my one on one time with my well below kids who are missing a lot of the phonics knowledge. They will be able to spell words, change sounds in the words and focus on the vowel spelling and sounding as if they were using the "Really Great Reading- Blast" program. I will use the reading games for workshop and in class time, so they can have fun while also reviewing reading skills. "Charlie and The Chocolate Factory" is ordered as a class set so that I can use it to read with my class as a whole. The clocks and power pen will help with hands-on learning in our math subject. Let's get these kids the education they deserve to be CHAMPS. COVID-19 has made these kids miss out on a lot of learning due to not being in the classroom. I want to help bring them back up and give them the learning experiences they deserve. I plan to do this while also making it fun for them to learn as well.
