My students all qualify for special services most of them have been diagnosed with ADD, autism, or Sensory processing disorders. Our school district has been in person since the 20-21 school year, however, there have been many disruptions due to Covid-19 illness and quarantines. This seems to have a larger impact on my students with the mentioned disorders. They have a much harder time transitioning and staying focused in the classroom. I believe the new equipment will help them engage in heavy work or give them appropriate items to "fidget". The heavy work and fidgets should help my students be calmer and more focused.
