We go through boxes of disposable gloves and masks in our school kitchen as our students help prepare school lunch daily. All of our students have earned their food handler permits and are learning to keep food safe. These supplies help our students keep food safety guidelines and teach them the importance of sanitation and correct food handling. Prices for these items have increased because of supply chain issues, driving up the cost. In addition, we could use a few more hats and aprons for our students. This is one of their favorite classes!

About my class
