I've selected books regarding topics of interest to two of my new students who are Spanish speakers, as well as several that target specific speech or language goals. I will use them in speech-language therapy to help my students develop a stronger foundation in their native language, so they may transfer these skills to English as they learn it. The books will be paired with thematic hands-on materials that I already have in my classroom. Though this project is intended for two specific students at the moment, I anticipate using them with others on my caseload as the need arises.
