Kinetic sand will help my students adapt to our new school environment, as they will need to stay six feet apart. Kinetic sand will help make learning easier with hands on activities. Students will be able to find letters or numbers inside the sand. Students will also work on their fine motor skills as they massage, tear, dig, cut and mold. Kinetic sand will help students relax and enjoy themselves during on hands learning . My students all have diverse learning needs but kinetic sand is the one thing that all students enjoy. Implementing kinetic sand in math or literacy will help students stay engaged and excited to participate in learning. Kinetic sands' tactile stimuli helps to sooth most students with special needs.
