Scholars often come to my office to gain relief, take a break, talk and manage their emotional needs. As we are still experiencing various mental health concerns stemming from the COVID-19 pandemic. Scholars often need tools and resources to build skills and capacity. These resources will facilitate individual and group sessions with scholars. Social Emotional Learning is helpful to both children and adults, increasing self-awareness, academic achievement, and positive behaviors both in and out of the classroom. From an academic standpoint, students who participated in SEL programs saw an 11 percentile increase in their overall grades and better attendance. By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student Social Emotional Learning, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement.
