Books are a great way to engage students even when remote learning is necessary. By having multiple books to choose from of different genres, I can reach many different types of students and help them connect with different kinds of texts. I think that with COVID-19, there is a lot of feelings of isolation. I'm grateful for the way that books can bring people together and help them to not feel so alone. I also think that it will help with their reading goals and improve their vocabulary and reading overall.

About my class
