I am a current Spanish teacher. My priority is to teach my students to read. However, the lack of Spanish resources makes this task a little bit difficult. My students asked about independent reading in Spanish, which is an activity they do in the English classroom. Until now, I haven't been able to do it, because I don't have enough books to establish my little library. I know how important it is for our students to be exposed to literature in both languages. By establishing this area in my classroom, I will ensure my students have the resources to achieve their learning goals.
