Children love to explore with their hands, and my students are no different. They have an extreme desire to learn how and why things work. They get so excited when we do labs and activities where they get to touch and build things. It is exciting to watch their enthusiasm as they try to figure out how to do an activity. The materials that I have chosen for my project will help my students have that hands on experience. My students will get to experiments with electricity, forces, simple machines, and even robotics. My students will be so excited to be able to actually figure out how all these things work and help answer so many of their questions. By donating to our project, you will help bring science to life for my students and ultimately invest in their academic achievement. Due to the pandemic, most of my students missed out on many hands on activities due to being virtual. Virtual labs are nice, but they are just not the same as being able to touch and experiment. These materials will help allow my students to gain new skills and gain deeper understanding of how science works. I have seen how hands on activities can positively affect my students work and demeanor and hope that the additional activities will help us grow even more!
