These Heart rate monitors will be beneficial in helping these students learn how to truly listen to their bodies and how to perform to the best of their abilities. We often have students discourage because they are not the fastest in the class or are not able to hit national standards which results in them thinking they are failing at their physical activity. If we can have these monitors we would be able to teach them and show them that they are actually working just as hard, if not harder than the rest of the students and be able to help them learn to improve throughout the year to continue to get better. We will also be able to use them for those students who are reaching the national standards but are not reaching their full potential. My hope is that we can help all these students be able to give their best effort and learn to love physical activity because they are able to see they have potential for growth and improvement.
