We use music every day in our preschool classroom. Music helps to reinforce all the concepts and skills learned in our preschool. Students sing the alphabet/phonics song every day. They sings songs to help them learn the days of the week, months of the year, and seasons. Music is very powerful. Using it every day helps to create longer learning. We are currently using our own phones to play the music. If a teacher is not here, or has to step away for a minute, it makes it difficult to have easy access to the playlists we have created to use each day. Having iPods that will stay every day in the classroom will help us out tremendously.
