Hello, I'm a high school math teacher at a Title I school. Our school has study from home every Friday and we also have students learning from home for health reasons. Being accessible to my students for questions and troubleshooting is especially necessary in today's world. iPads are an irreplaceable tool for making notes and screen mirroring to projectors for step by step problems in real time that can easily be uploaded to Google Classroom for online and absent students to view and use. IPads and laptops are also used for meetings held virtually to tutor students and meet with parents. The iPad will also be used to create online tutoring videos to help students from all classes with math subjects which they can view, pause, and rewind anytime they need extra help with math. The stylus allows me to easily create math problems that would otherwise take a long time to type and most keyboards do not have math symbols readily available to use.
The violin is for a student whose family cannot afford to provide him his own instrument, he has told multiple teachers of his desire to play the violin. This instrument will be available to any student with the desire to learn violin.
Thank you for your consideration.
Sincerely,
Ms. M.
