Many of these hands-on tools will be used in our classroom to help engage and support students in their reading and math skills. The decoadable books will help ensure success for my struggling readers and help develop a love for reading. I believe that teaching kids to read needs to be done using a multi-sensory approach. Many of these games such as the Phonics Dominos and Vocabulary bingo will give my students a chance to practice reading skills and have fun doing it. Learning to read is a challenge for most of my students and due to the learning loss that has happened as a result of the pandemic, many of my students are below grade level. Using these tools will make it fun and engaging!
