My students have been limited to pencil, crayon and markers for so long that they are losing their interest in art. They need to be introduced to other mediums and with the poster boards we can do painting, pastels and collage. I cut the poster boards into 1/4. There is very little wasted. Covid caused the oilfield decline in our area and our donations and ability to buy supplies has diminished. I get $50 a year from the school to teach 8 classes of students. It is really hard to find the funds to buy all that I need. Much of my own money goes into buying materials. My students love art class and it would be so much better if we weren't so limited.
