Station rotations are a big part of many lessons we do in class. Often, students will look at pictures, news articles, primary sources, or scan a QR code to watch a video. I would love to add a VR experience to my World History and US History classes. I want my students to be able to understand the grandeur of the Palace of Versailles when we learn about the French Revolution and the huge amount of inequality in French society at the time. I would love for them to sit in the cockpit of a U2 Spyplane or SR-71 when they learn about the Cold War. Some of my students will have the opportunity to travel the world and have incredible experience in person, but so many will never have a chance to travel. With virtual reality in my classroom, my lessons will have more of an impact.
