My students will be able to become active and successful learners. Fresh new and exciting materials will encourage and foster students' participation in pre-writing, writing, and language skills. Currently, the fine motor and writing skills are teacher-led, and most materials stored after each lesson. My classroom currently doesn't have a child-led writing center to continue practice of the skills that were taught. A lighted table in the classroom will help my students foster independence and increase engagement all while working on fine motor and socials skills. My students will have more choices in practicing their fine motor strength, pre-writing, writing, and communication skills with new and exciting materials.
