Evolution is a hard topic to make hands-on and visual. In Biology, we focus on looking at evolution from an evidence standpoint. During middle school my students didn't get to experience using hands-on models and visuals because they were doing virtual learning during the start of the COVID-19 Pandemic. These videos will add some additional support to their ideas and will provide more evidence for students to support their ideas regarding evolution. These videos will provide different kinds of evidence than simply fossil evidence. Having these Models to present to my students will allow them to gather their own observations and ideas to support their own ideas regarding the theory of evolution. In the past I have had to print out pictures for this type of activity and it would be awesome to have something physical for them to look at.
