This project fills a variety of needs in my history and theater classroom. 1- It gives students a new way to access history and Shakespeare: through high interest novels and simplified plays. 2-It encourages student choice in what they study by allowing them multiple subjects to choose from. 3- It helps reach readers where they are by offering books at many different reading levels. 4- Students will be able to take these books home and read at their own pace. 5- Last, but not least, high interest novels and plays help students LOVE learning!
