Students are working with laptops that sometimes do not work well. Using a trackpad is difficult and time consuming. A mouse and headphones will allow students to work more quickly and help them write peacefully in class. My classroom sat empty for half a year before I moved into it. It lacks many of the comforts that classrooms develop after several years of loving service. Many of the items in this project, like the bulletin board, small table, posters and surge protector, will make the room more inviting and help create a flow that will facilitate distraction-free learning for my students.
