My Project Students will create and construct a unique bridge, castle or high-rise using geometric shapes. There will be a rubric for incorporating angles, lines, and shapes. Students will be challenged to actively think. The final piece will be for them to teach the other students in class about what they designed using the vocabulary correctly. This project will help my students integrate the vocabulary from the class to expand creativity, increase the knowledge of mathematical terms, and give exposure to careers that use Geometry. Building goes a long way!
