We are a public charter school with a focus on environmental science, the Chesapeake Bay, sustainability, healthy living,and nutrition. Students work on multiple projects throughout the grades, including composting, maintaining a pollinator garden, raising oysters, terrapins, and bay grasses, and culminating with the Fifth Graders maintaining their own edible organic garden. We believe in experiential learning, and that the best way for children to have a meaningful education is by doing, working, growing, and tasting as they go.

About my class
