Authentic materials in the target language (Spanish) will help my students have a variety of subjects to explore through books, games, and other educational activities. Listening is a large part of our classroom daily activities. We listen to songs, podcasts, news reports, interviews, documentaries, and more in the Spanish language. A high-quality speaker will help make these listening activities more clear, concise, and effective. Storage bags for our classroom set of headphones and microphones will help protect the equipment we already have as students continue to practice listening and speaking. All of the above resources will help students continue their academic growth in light of COVID 19. Most of my students have lost significant hours of learning in the target language and these resources will help them maximize their growth, especially in listening and speaking, while in the classroom.
