These materials will let my students experience the body in a way that cannot be done with videos, pictures, and simulations. The sheep organs will help them make observations about the weight, texture, and size of various body parts. During my cardiovascular unit, my students explore blood pressure. We discuss what blood pressure is, how to understand the measurements, and the importance of controlling it. New blood pressure cuffs will replace our old equipment that has does not work anymore. Your donation will help my students actively learn through exploration.
