To help my students learn amid the pandemic, I could use some basic school supplies like folders, paper, and tape to help the students who have not been able to bring these to make their notebooks for my class. Since these notebooks are basically their textbooks, they are very important for their learning and success in my class. With the economy being so tight, there have been more students who cannot afford to bring these supplies, and I do not have enough personal funds to supply them. To help engage the students more while they learn, I often create manipulatives for them to use in class, and the Nearpod platform allows me to create interactive lessons for those in class and at home. The manipulatives include puzzles, words, and other games that they compete to finish. The laminator will help cut the cost of making them and help to preserve what I have made.
