In this classroom, we use technology quite a bit. For example, we use IXL, Khan Academy and Study Island, which all have sound bytes. When we all have our sound going at one time, it can be very chaotic. Also, our library offers many books online that students could read along with and/or listen to that would help improve their reading and listening skills. Reading will open up potential doors for students in the future that poor or non readers will not have. Due to Covid, many students across America have fallen behind on their reading skills. We would like to have a set of headphones with microphones to help our students become better readers, listeners, and acquire better study habits.
