We are focusing on good hygiene and safety as we work through the pandemic in our community-based program. This includes riding buses and mass transit as transportation, jobs sites including retail stores, and other places where our students come in contact with many people from the community. We also eat lunch at malls and other spaces that are open to the public, we do not have a school lunchroom. Maintaining good hygiene can be a real challenge for our students, especially in these situations. Lesson plans include teaching students how to care for their clothing and personal hygiene. Materials that they come in contact with on a daily bases are sanitized including extra precautions during our social interactions!
