Being able to provide hands-on materials for students is incredibly important especially since the pandemic. Many students have missed the opportunity to have a hands-on learning experience. These materials will be used in labs for students that are in 7th grade all the way up to 12th grade. My ultimate goal for the students using the rock and mineral samples is to go out into the field and use their identification skills in real life. Learning how to use resources such as field guides and samples is a very important skills many students need.

About my class
