My students will be learning about nature and its processes through hands on activities in our small class garden. The books I have chosen will help facilitate STEAM projects that will actively engage my students in learning as well as having fun in a safe outdoor environment. Covid has impacted my students by reducing the interaction with each other. Spending so much time on tablets completing lessons has hindered the social growth of my young students. Being outdoors in a safe environment with interactive lessons will be a great benefit to their mental, physical, and educational growth.
