I have students that need help with basic math skills. Using the calculators will help each student achieve in their math studies. When a students feels like they cannot solve 8 x 8, they shut down. If they use the calculator they can figure out the multiplication and continue to solve the rest of the problem. Students with learning disabilities can struggle with basic math skills and want to stop their work. It is hard for them to enjoy learning if they don't understand. Using a simple calculator will help them with their numbers and skills for them to learn.
