My students have the opportunity to learn basic cooking skills in our classroom. With the help of the skillets and hand mixer, I hope to provide a more enriching cooking experience. From simply boiling an egg to learning how to make pie crusts and pizza dough, each student will walk away with recipes and experiences they'll remember for a lifetime. It is my goal to have my classroom feel like a home away from home, where all students feel welcome and comfortable. These items will have the feel of home and help my students to learn the basic cooking skills they need to be successful in their adult lives. The majority of the items will also be used for kitchen organization and sanitation which are important skills to learn as well. With your help, I would like to provide my students with the opportunity to make memories and learn skills that they will use for the rest of their lives, and feel at home while doing it!
