I will use these books to help the children experience new things. The children will gain a new level of knowledge from reading about new places and seeing what those places look like. They will learn how to work together. I can use the books as a starting point for writing as well. Children who read both fiction and nonfiction enjoy reading more. Reading is a basic skill but it is not easy for every child to learn to read. My children like to read together and by having these multiple sets of books they will be able to read together. When the kids read together they push each other to be better readers.
