This is a cross-curricular lesson with the automotive collision and repair class and the advanced painting art class. The lessons to be taught are to demonstrate the many different uses for an airbrush across different industry's as a potential career: face painting and make-up arts, painting 3D objects, painting on multiple surfaces (skateboards, cars, helmets), cake painting as well as traditional painting. These materials are expensive to buy so it is not possible for many students to gain experience with this on their own. This project will allow students to gain that experience and skills with an airbrush, we hope to inspire career investigation into industry's that use airbrush artists.
