The resources I’ve requested (in conjunction with the Apple TV that my IT department has available) will afford me the opportunity to create engaging lessons with my students. I currently have no technology available to me in my classroom in terms of being able to present a lesson to students or do any kind of interactive group activities. Having a smart TV (with stand) and an Apple TV to connect to will open up a world of possibilities in terms of how I will be able to engage my students and help lessons come alive. I can actually teach academic vocabulary instead of just assigning them a list to learn independently. We can review tough concepts and talk through them as a class. I can have students create presentations to present before the class and the list goes on. Having technology available in my classroom would be a game-changer!
