Students often see historical topics as dead and gone and struggle with difficult concepts in the classroom. By providing primary sources in a way that students are better to grasp (image association, character development) in a historical fiction setting students can see History as a story they are helping to write. The translator provides me with a useful device that helps me communicate more with my ESL students. Currently I have to run back to my computer and type everything into Google Translate. This would make these conversations quicker and lead to their better understanding of the lesson and ideas.

About my class
