My students are going to be making wooden chess board boxes. We lack the funds to provide them with all of the tools they need in order to complete this project. A handheld router and stationary disc sander will provide them with the ability to sand their boxes to make them square and the router will help them make the necessary joints they need to create in order to assemble them. The tools will also be useful for future projects they design. After my students complete this project, they will be able to design and create something on their own.

About my class
