The basic school supplies in this grant will help to provide resources that my students can use in class everyday to help further their education and help them to graduate. I work with Credit Recovery courses and programs, so a lot of my students are in my classes to make up missed credit due to the ongoing COVID-19 Pandemic, and they need lots of extra help and attention. I provide many snacks and treats in my classroom as well to help the kids focus when completing assignments, and also as incentives to boost their spirits and give them something to look forward too. A lot of the students I have come from low-income homes as well, so having snacks will be a huge beneficial factor for them. This grant would be very beneficial to help out in my classroom!
